CASA FOA 2013: A showcase of the best of Argentinean interior design

Edificio Tornquist - Buenos Aires

CASA FOA is an annual exhibition of architecture, interior design and landscaping. It is held every year in a different place: an exceptional house, palace or monument. If you are in Buenos Aires during this yearly even and are interested in interior design, you should definitely go.

This year, CASA FOA celebrates its 30th edition and chose a historical monument: the Tornquist building, a jewel of Argentinean architect Alejandro Bustillo’s work. It was built in 1926 and is one of the best examples of Neo-Historism. The building stands in Buenos Aires’ city center and used to be a bank. Each of the building’s rooms on the first floor was decorated for this exhibition.
