Bike tours in Buenos Aires: 3 recommended itineraries

Bike tours in Buenos Aires

Our 3 recommended, off-the-beaten-track bike tours to enjoy Buenos Aires by bike.

To discover a city by bike is always a great experience. Biking gives an incredible sense of freedom. One can enjoy another rhythm and reach more remote places than by walking. There are more than 60 miles of bicycle paths in Buenos Aires. Here are our recommended stretches to reach less touristic but beautiful areas.

Bike Tours in Buenos Aires

1- Palermo Chico bike tour: Av. Del Libertador

Palermo Bicycle track - Best bike tours in Buenos Aires

Enjoy this quiet and safe bicycle path next to Ave. del Libertador parks and squares. From Palo Santo Hotel, you can quickly reach Ave. Int. Bullrich and from there Ave. del Libertador. Make a detour through Palermo’s parks (Bosques de Palermo). You will see a lot of joggers, rollers and other bike. Then head towards Recoleta. You can reach amazing (and highly touristic) Plaza San Martin within a 30 to 45 minutes ride. Our favorite bike tour in Buenos Aires.

2- Parque Centenario bike tour

Natural Sciences Museum Buenos Aires - Parque Centenario

From Palo Santo Hotel, head to Gorriti St. bicycle path and then Julián Alvárez St. Within 20 minutes, you will reach Bravard Boulevard, an incredible (but short) path that will lead you to Parque Centenario. Take a look at the Natural Sciences Museum building, a beautiful 19th century monument.

3- Belgrano R bike tour

Belgrano R - A posh residencial area in Buenos Aires

Magnificent mansions and wonderful parks can be found in this posh neighborhood. To reach it from Palo Santo Hotel, head to Dorrego Ave. and turn right on Gral. Enrique Martínez St. You’ll be in Belgrano R in less than 20 minutes. Take Virrey Loreto St. right and then follow Superi St. Feel as you are lost in a Victorian residential area. On Melián St., just at the end of the bicycle track, you will find the most beautiful houses of the neighborhood.
