Aramburu Bis: Taste new Argentine Cuisine

Located in the not-so-glamourous area of Constitución, Aramburu Bis is a gem in Buenos Aires gastronomical scenery. It is the second restaurant of chef Gonzalo Aramburu and constitutes a more accessible alternative to his original restaurant, Aramburu. If you want to discover Argentine Cuisine further than grilled meat and empanadas, we highly recommend it!

Aramburu Bis

Aramburu Bis is located in Constitución, a popular area not far from San Telmo. The setting is very modern and rustic at the same time: the large steel ceiling lamps contrast very nicely with the raw wood chairs and table. Some cooking equipment and pots hang over the tables. There are some individual tables and other communal tables, fit for several groups of 2 to 8 diners.

The menu is a modern take on Argentine Cuisine: Ojo de Bife Ahumado (smoked ribeye with kabutia pure, sweet potatoes chips, pesto and braised leak), Raviolones de Conejo (rabbit ravioli with mushrooms, herbs and tomato), Churrasquitos de Higado de Ternera (veal liver steaks with truffled potatoe pure, grilled peppers and fried egg) are some of the main courses. For desert, the arroz con leche (rice pudding) is absolutely stunning.

Finally, the service is friendly and efficient and the breadbasket – served with a delicious olive oil – is great. And they have a very nice wine list too. For now, price is very accessible: around USD25 per person. Let’s enjoy it while it lasts!
